Voice and AI processing

Voice features arrive in a later release. This page explains how they will work before you ever press record.

Third-party processing

To transcribe speech, speak replies aloud and generate suggestions, Storyborn sends the relevant audio or text to AI providers acting on our behalf. We will name each provider here before voice features launch.

Original audio is off by default

• By default, we keep only the transcript of what you said, not the recording.
• If you turn on audio retention, recordings are kept privately for 30 days unless you choose otherwise.
• You can delete any recording at any time. The transcript stays unless you delete it too.

Microphone access

Storyborn only listens while a recording indicator is visible. Typing is always available instead.
